What you send through the form
A submitted form delivers your name, at least one contact (an email address, some other contact, or both) and the text you wrote: which place it concerns, what should be added or corrected, the page that shows it and how you know the place. The address and language of the page the form was sent from travel with it. One field is invisible to people and exists only to catch automated spam.
How a message is used
Messages are kept by a form backend and read together when the list is next updated. They serve one purpose, which is to check and apply what you reported. Your name and contact are not published, not sold and not handed to the clubs or organisers you mention, and you are contacted only when your message asks for an answer. A published correction describes what changed and never who reported it.
How visits are counted
Page views are counted by an analytics script that this site serves itself. No cookie is set and nothing follows you to other sites. Each view records the page, the referring page and the browser, device type and country worked out from the request; the figures are read only in aggregate.
Nothing from third parties
These pages carry no advertising or social-network scripts and fetch no fonts, maps or images from elsewhere. A link to a source or to a map opens another website with rules of its own. The hosting provider necessarily handles technical data, IP addresses included, to deliver the pages.
Having your message removed
Write through the form again, with the same name and contact, and say which message should go. It is erased from the form backend during the next review. No confirmation is sent unless the request asks for one and gives a contact.
